BMG, its live companion firm Undercover, and Volker Hirsch, founding father of the German Taubertal-Festival, have entered into an alliance.
BMG says the alliance kinds the “next step” in its growth into the live music and leisure enterprise, after launching its live music division last year.
The deal with Taubertal-Festival, which was based in 1996, implies that in addition to touring, reserving and concert events, BMG’s live music choices now embrace festivals.
KARO, Undercover and BMG say that they may leverage the businesses shared expertise, information and companion networks to create “compelling, tailor-made music marketing and sponsorship solutions for the festival,” says BMG, and can “strengthen the brand behind Taubertal-Festival internationally.”
Previous lineups at Taubertal-Festival have featured Placebo, Rise Against, P!nk, Die Toten Hosen, Billy Talent, The National, Skunk Anansie, and Seeed.
The competition’s Twenty fifth-anniversary version is scheduled for August 12 – 14, 2022, that includes Biffy Clyro, Kontra Okay, AnnenMayKantereit, Kraftklub, and extra.
The deal comes a 12 months after BMG became a majority stakeholder in German live music promoter Undercover, which BMG says “forms the basis of BMG’s live music and entertainment unit in GSA.”
Over the previous 12 months, Undercover have added quite a lot of new artists and initiatives to its roster, together with Stefanie Heinzmann, No Angels, Callejon, the live performance collection Sing Meinen Song, and illusionist Farid, with greater than 400 exhibits in full capability deliberate for 2021 and 2022.
